The Hook → Proof → CTA framework

  • Hook (first line): The single biggest reason this product exists. Conversational, not corporate.
  • Proof (next 2–3 lines): A spec, a stat, or a social proof number. "30,000+ sold this month" beats "premium quality" every time.
  • CTA (last line): Urgency or scarcity. "Restocks sell out in 4 hours" — if true.

What a winning TikTok Shop listing looks like

"The viral cloud slippers everyone's wearing right now."

"Memory foam that actually holds shape after 6 months. 47k sold in May."

"Free shipping ends Sunday."

That's it. Four lines. No bullets, no spec dump.

Image rules (more important than copy)

  • First image: the product being used, not on white background. TikTok Shop is feed-native.
  • Image 2–3: comparison or before/after.
  • Image 4–5: text-overlay benefits ("Won't slip in shower", "Fits 6-11").

What kills conversion

  • Amazon-style title stuffing ("Best Cloud Slippers Memory Foam Indoor Outdoor Anti-Slip…") — TikTok algorithm down-ranks this.
  • Generic stock photos. Phone-shot in real settings wins every time.
  • Price >$50 with no creator videos attached — you need at least 3 affiliate creators to crack $50+ on TikTok Shop.
